BODY LANGUAGE

BODY LANGUAGE is inspired by the uniqueness of independent individuals in the social environment. The most common form of communication between individuals is verbal communication, yet our physical bodies can be more effective in reflecting our emotional state. Our bodies can say more than our words. Emotions, attitudes and intentions can be expressed through different postures and movements.

I chose digital tools to capture and transform these movements into visual effects because I feel that I am able to convey my creativity and inspiration more clearly. Digital tools also improve design efficiency, and greatly reduce production costs. I use actual fabrics as inspiration for visual looks. I then simulate and test the looks digitally, to ensure that my design can be successfully implemented in real-world production. Through digitalization, my work avoids the waste of resources in traditional production methods, by intuitively showing the effects that I want through virtual models.
